I am the bridesmaid at the wedding of my sister. I am also horrible at languages. Does anyone know of a free website where I can get a good speech and only change it? I tried searching but all I found were sites that wanted me to pay / subscription e-mail.

There are books in places like hallmark, or chapters, or paragraphs, write short speeches about friendship, sisters and love. I suggest take a look at these and scoring a couple of them you like. They sound beautiful and from the heart, and say what you feel …. a book called True Friends Always stay in every heart Other (A Blue Mountain Arts Collection) or read a couple of birthday or greeting cards for the sisters, and copy what they have said. It can be totally nervous saying a speech, but when you say, just straight to your sister like you're talking over coffee, and feel less stressful for you. Good luck that!

I am the maid of honor in a wedding, and i need a speech/toast. The speech is for my sister, her wedding is in January. I have NO idea what to write, i want it to be funny, because thats the kind of person i am, but i want it to be heartfelt to because i love my sister more than anything. if you have any suggestions of sites that have sample speeches/toast, or templates to writing a maid of honor speech/toast, that would be soooooooooooo helpful! thank you so much. You write so nicely and from the heart that I find it hard to believe that you cant come up with something yourself.
Sit down and think about some nice memories you have from growing up with your sister. Think about the love you share and the happiness you are feeling coming from her.
Write it all down. Let it flow. Write from the heart. I am sure there is some special and funny memories you can add to the speech. Perhaps there was a song she used to love or a poem you relate to her or to your childhood……
I know she will love a personal and heartfelt speech straight from your heart, rather than a doctored standard speech.

ok, thanks for all your earlier answers, my next problem is that I'm the best man and do not know what say in the speech …. i really have not spent much time with my brother-in-law potential, and have no funny stories about them ….. What should I do??

In the last wedding I attended, the Ministry of Health talked about the boyfriend mostly, and BM referred to the bride in her majority. They spent some time talking of them as a couple. Best man speeches often have much in common.
